It is interesting to see that the US Dollar remains to be a haven. Of course, is it not certain how long it will remain the global world reserve currency. Confidence will go away. The only question is when it will happen.
So what to put your Dollars in? You need to keep your Dollars working. At least if you wish to keep the purchasing power of your money. Don’t forget that the target inflation rate of a few percent is eating your purchasing power away.
So where to put the money in?
One of the things that look very interesting is agricultural investments. Then I especially refer to those who are already in the production phase. People keep eating. Look for this at things that make common sense. I’m looking at investing in coconut production, truffle, cow / meat, watermelon, and coffee.
No, I’ll not pick all. I’ll pick 1 a 2 of them. Maybe start some collective to get things off the ground.
Second is some real estate. Real estate allows you to remain the value and can earn you some money by letting it out. Which is more easy thanks to the platform economy. Booking.com and Airbnb are perfect methods to put your real estate on the rental market.
Think about the beautiful beaches in Brazil, the upcoming touristic destination Cape Verde, Pacific Ocean nations like Fiji, New Caledonia and Vanuatu. As well as Ukraine real estate in Kyiv and Odesa.
At the moment I’m planning some inspection trips. Just to have a look. I must admit that the property will be my living location. Living there and frequently returning to the Benelux.
While the US Dollar is up against other currencies, it is the question of how long this will continue.
