Last December the US Navy banned all of its employees from using the Chinese owned app TikTok. Now, this ban is expanded to all USA soldiers and the Ministry of Defense employees.
With this being announced the trade war gets into a new dimension. Or is the real reason the security risks, as TikTok is owned by a Chinese tech company.
The US army is executing several secret missions a day. So it makes sense from a security perspective. But the big question is if this is a risk. Are the people not aware that this is a risk out of themselve?
Before you start with the critics upon the Chinese security law. most countries in the world have similar laws.
